NIGHT

The first audiences of the New Testament, being mostly illiterate, would have heard it with their ears (as it was spoken aloud) rather than reading it with their eyes. That's just one fundamental aspect of cultural context that's essential to understanding the Bible on its own terms. Join us as we explore what it means to become students of the cultures in which Scripture was written.

Sydney will be offering an online program however Perth will not. If you'd like to learn more about our Perth Campus but won't be able to attend Open Night, let us know! Send us an email at enquiries@morling.edu.au.

A counselling and chaplaincy perspective"

STUDENT STORIES

Vandana

Vandana was born in India, grew up in Fiji where her parents served as missionaries, and now lives in Perth where she runs a physiotherapy practice.

A few years ago, Vandana's deep love for God and the Bible led her to enrol in a Graduate Diploma of Divinity at Morling. During her time at Morling, God began to nudge her with a call to ministry. She now serves part time as part of a church pastoral team, while also running her physio clinic.

While studying her graduate diploma at Morling, Vandana says her whole concept of ministry and theology has been transformed. She is now undertaking the journey of pastoral accreditation through her church denomination. Vandana is also returning to Morling to study a Masters of Theological Studies!
